Having trained with DONA International in March of 2020, I completed the certification process and have been a Postpartum Certified Doula (DONA) since February of 2022. I have specific experience with breastfeeding, babywearing, and cloth diapering, but my job is definitely to help you find your own sustainable, joyful ways of facing this new chapter. My clients have been grateful for the calm, peaceful presence I bring to the home during this momentous time.
During postpartum care, my goals are to facilitate the recovery of the birthing person and help strengthen relationships within the household between family members and with the baby(ies). I look forward to providing a circle of comfort, care, and empowerment in the midst of what can be a challenging transition, as beautiful as it is. I have current availability for morning, evening, or overnight shifts. In-person postpartum support ends at 12 weeks, but I am happy to stay in touch via text and email with any questions you have or resources I can provide.
